SummaCare is a smaller plan in northeast Ohio tied to Summa Health. The network is adequate for the Akron area but limited elsewhere. Coverage is standard. Customer service is small operation friendly. Premiums are competitive. Fine for people who get care within the Summa system.

One year on SummaCare. Adequate for basic coverage in the Akron area. Limited if you need providers outside their network. Standard small plan experience.

Small regional plan that works well for its target market. If you use Summa Health facilities the experience is smooth. Outside that network options are limited. Claims processing is average. Decent option for northeast Ohio.
