Been on Kaiser for six years through my employer and honestly the integrated model is hard to beat. My PCP my specialists my pharmacy and my lab work are all in the same building. Referrals happen internally so I never have to chase paperwork between providers. The trade off is you are locked into their network. If you want to see an outside doctor you are basically paying out of pocket. But if you are fine staying in system the experience is seamless.

Kaiser is excellent if you live near their facilities. The app is great for scheduling and messaging your doctor. I got lab results back same day through the app which blew my mind. My only complaint is the cost. Premiums are not cheap especially for family coverage. But you get what you pay for and the actual care quality is top tier.

Moved from a PPO to Kaiser and the transition was rough at first because I had to switch all my doctors. But once I got established the convenience factor is unreal. Urgent care visits are quick and affordable. Prescriptions are straightforward. The mental health services could be better though. Wait times for therapy appointments are long.

I switched from another insurer thinking Kaiser would be better, but I’ve had more billing issues and confusing coverage rules than ever before. It works okay for basic stuff, but anything slightly complicated is a headache.

The worst insurance I have ever had… my son desperately needed a neurologist and they would not refer us.
