Default insurer in Alabama. The network is the widest in the state by far. Coverage is decent for the price. Customer service is okay nothing exceptional. The app works but feels a bit dated. If you live in Alabama you are probably on this plan already.

BCBS Alabama is basically the only game in town. They dominate the market which has pros and cons. The pro is every provider accepts it. The con is there is not much competition to keep them honest on pricing. Coverage is standard BCBS quality. Claims processing is fine. Just wish premiums were lower given their market dominance.

Standard BCBS experience. Wide network reliable coverage. Nothing to write home about but nothing to complain about either. It is just insurance that works.
