My teenager was admitted after a mental health crisis. As a parent, this was the hardest thing I've ever gone through. The psychiatric team was compassionate and included us in treatment planning. They didn't judge my child or our family. The therapists worked with her daily. She was discharged after 5 days with a solid follow-up plan. The stigma around mental health is real but this hospital handled it with dignity.
