Travel nurse in their clinical research department. Coordinated oncology clinical trials - screened patients, obtained consents, administered investigational drugs, monitored for adverse events, and documented everything meticulously for FDA compliance. Different from bedside nursing but still patient-focused. Requires attention to detail and understanding of research protocols. Monday-Friday schedule with no call.

Neonatal transport team contract. Traveled with the NICU team to pick up sick newborns from surrounding hospitals. Adrenaline-filled work. You show up at a community hospital, stabilize the baby, and transport via ambulance or helicopter. The NICU here is Level IV so we got the sickest babies in the region. Team was tight and experienced. Not your average nursing assignment but unforgettable.
