Their patient-controlled analgesia protocols are current and well-managed. Nursing education on PCA monitoring was thorough during orientation. I've been at places where PCA safety was lax, so seeing it done right was reassuring. Pain management overall was a priority here with multimodal approaches, not just opioids. Progressive thinking on a complex issue.
