Pediatric ICU contract here. Level I PICU with a wide range of cases - post-surgical cardiac kids, respiratory failure, trauma, oncology patients. The team is specialized and experienced. They use a family-centered care model that can be an adjustment if you're not used to parents being at bedside 24/7. The doctors are accessible and collaborative. Emotionally heavy but professionally rewarding.

Cath lab was great. Modern equipment, good volume (4-6 cases/day typically), and the cardiologists are skilled. They do structural heart procedures which was new for me. On-call frequency was reasonable - every 4th night. I'd come back for the right rate.
