The digital experience is best in class. Bar none. No other insurer comes close to Oscar on the tech side. Telemedicine is built right into the app and it actually works well. The concierge team is responsive and helpful. But the premiums are higher than comparable plans and the network is limited. Great for young healthy people in urban areas.

Oscar is what health insurance should look like in 2026. The app is incredible. I can message my care team get prescriptions refilled find providers and check claims all from my phone. The virtual care is seamless. My complaint is the network is significantly smaller than the big carriers. If you need a specific specialist they might not be in network.

Love the concept hate the network limitations. Oscar is amazing when everything you need is in network. But the second you need something outside their network it gets expensive fast. For routine care and digital convenience they are unmatched. For complex medical needs look elsewhere.
