Standard BCBS coverage for upstate NY. Nothing exceptional but reliably good. The network includes Strong Memorial Rochester General and all the major providers. Claims have been handled smoothly in my experience.

Excellus serves upstate New York. The network is good for the region including all the major health systems. Claims processing is average. Customer service is okay. The app is functional but not the most modern. Premiums are competitive for New York which is saying something. Decent nonprofit insurer.

Two years on Excellus. Fine for upstate New York coverage. Provider network is adequate. Claims processing is standard. No major issues.
