My kids are covered through a Centene managed Medicaid plan. Pediatric care has been easy to access and well covered. Dental for kids is included which is great. The network is more limited than private insurance but for the cost which is essentially free you cannot complain too much.

Centene runs the Medicaid plan in my state and for what it is the coverage is decent. Finding specialists who accept it can be challenging especially for mental health. But for primary care and prescriptions it gets the job done. The member services line has long wait times but the reps are usually helpful once you get through.

The marketplace plan through Centene was affordable but the network was thin. I had to drive 45 minutes to see a specialist who was in network. For routine care it was fine but anything beyond that was inconvenient. You get what you pay for.
