Meditech Expanse here. Better than old Meditech but still not Epic.

They run a sepsis screening tool that fires automatically in Epic based on vitals and labs. Sounds annoying but it actually catches cases early. Had at least 3 patients during my contract where the screening prompted intervention before the patient visibly decompensated. Evidence-based practice that actually translates to the bedside. More hospitals should adopt this approach.
